The Film Branch is the Art Center’s newest branch and was established in 2010. It hopes to provide an additional opportunity for filmgoers in the Valley to come together and enjoy the art of film and filmmaking.

On Monday, August 8th at 7:00 p.m. the Film Branch is happy to be co-sponsoring a joint flim and literary branch presentation of “Sense & Sensibilty,” the 1995 film of the Jane Austen novel SENSE AND SENSIBILITY. The film stars Emma Thompson, Kate Winslet, Hugh Grant and other eminent actors of British cinema.

The film screening will be followed by a discussion of the process of bringing the novel to the screen based on The Sense and Sensibility Screenplay and Diaries, a book by Emma Thompson, the film’s screenwriter.

Suggested donation – $5.00
