Photography
Photography became a Branch of the Ojai Center for the Arts in June 2003 with the goal of exploring the ever-expanding art of photography,encouraging image creativity among both professional and amateur photographers, and being an artistic and enriching element of our community.
The Photography Branch provides a source of information for youth and adults to further advance the knowledge and appreciation of this art form.
“SMALL is the New BIG”
June 1 – June 26
Reception: June 2 from 1 – 3 p.m.
The exhibit has an open theme in regard to subject matter and is open to all artists using photographic materials. This year we are hoping to challenge artists to focus on making small images with big impact and presenting them effectively. Most small prints show better set off with large mattes and simple frames. Please note that to accommodate exhibit constraints, we have both minimum and maximum frame sizes this year.
