Open Photography Exhibit

Artist’s Reception: Saturday, December 9th, 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.
This is an open, no-theme exhibit for local photographers.
ENTRY FEES: $15 each or 3 for $40. Maximum of three entries per person. No entry fee for students grades
7-12 in available space. Fees are non-refundable. Some photos may not be selected to hang in the gallery.

Drop off Thursday, November 30th 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
Artist’s Reception Saturday, December 9th 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.
Pick Up Thursday, January 4th 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
USE RIGHTS:
Each artist retains all copyrights to their image. Artist’s recognition is provided with any use. By
submission for jurying, artists whose submissions are chosen for the exhibition grant the Ojai Art Center the right
to use their image for the purpose of promotion the artist, promoting the Ojai Art Center’s programs, promoting
exhibitions and subsequent display on the Center’s website of current and past exhibitions. Promotions and
images may also be placed on social networks for the Ojai Art Center with artist credit. Artists grant the use of their
image(s) as stated without further contact or compensation from the Ojai Art Center.
LIABILITY:
All reasonable effort is made to safely handle and protect entries. However, no liability for damages or
loss can be assumed by the Ojai Art Center, the Photography Branch or its volunteers. If artists wish to insure their
work, they must provide that insurance.

- Membership in the Ojai Art Center is required. A one-month membership is available for $10.
- Entries must not have been previously exhibited in the Ojai Art Center. All work must be suitable
- for viewing by children.
- Entries must be ready to hang, preferably framed or a rigid background and using a single wire.
- Entries must meet professional standards: glass must be clean, framed images must have a mat;
- entry must not be damaged.
- Entries must be priced to sell and remain in the gallery for the duration of the exhibit, unless sold.
- Art Center staff will handle all sales, including sales tax. A 30% commission will be deducted.
- Please send a digital copy of your image for use on social media.
