"As always, we are so grateful to the Ojai community for their support of the arts programs here at Nordhoff. With the Ojai Art Center's sponsor donations, we are able to further our programs and provide new artistic opportunities for our students. Art in the Park is an event that inspires the students and allows them to meet with artists working in other communities. It offers a real-world experience and gives them confidence in their own work. We always love to see the students talking about the work they have created, and it’s wonderful for them to get praise and feedback from the Ojai community. This is an event they look forward to and plan for all year, and it’s such a rewarding way to end the school year. A big thank you to Ojai Art Center and the many sponsors. We used the money from Art in the Park on a precious metal clay kiln for jewelry making."
